Ingredients

  • 10 gr Ginger

  • 20 gr Turmeric

  • 10 gr Lemon (2-3 thin slices)

  • 1/2 Ceylon cinnamon stick

  • 3 Thyme sprigs

  • 1 tsp Raw honey

  • 10 gr Mountain tea (optional) sprigs

  • 1 l water

Directions

  • Chop ginger and turmeric (they don’t need to be pealed). Slice lemon.
  • Add ginger, turmeric, lemon, cinnamon, thyme and mountain tea (optional) to a pot. Add water and bring to boil.
  • Bring the heat down and leave the pot on the stove for few minutes.
  • Pour the mixture to a cup. Add honey when the tea is drinkable (boiling hot water may have a negative effect on the honey’s healing properties) and mix well.

Notes

  • We recommend using organic mountain tea from Ikaria, Greece. The island has an exceptionally rich soil with great minerals. Ikaria is also one of the five Blue Zones in the world.
